A six-dimension brand growth diagnostic
The Growth Ceiling Assessment.
Score your brand across the six dimensions of growth. Find out what's capping your growth, and where your most immediate opportunity lies. Takes about 10 minutes. 24 statements. One honest score.
Before you begin
Six ways a brand grows, and why ceilings form.
Every brand grows along three axes: who buys (audiences), what they buy (offerings), and why or when they buy (reasons and occasions). On each axis, growth comes from two directions: getting more from what already exists, and expanding into what's new. That gives you six distinct growth dimensions.
Scaling brands rarely stall because they're weak everywhere. They stall because one or two dimensions are quietly constrained. The weakest dimension sets the ceiling.
Existing Audiences
Deepening value from the customers you already have
New Audiences
Winning customers you don't yet serve
Existing Offerings
Getting more from what you already sell
New Offerings
Building what your market will want next
Existing Reasons & Occasions
Owning the moments that already drive purchase
New Reasons & Occasions
Creating new moments for your brand to be chosen
How to complete the assessment.
01
Rate 24 statements
From 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Answer for how things actually are today, not how they look on the roadmap.
02
Get six subtotals
Each dimension scores 4–20, and we plot all six on a radar chart so the shape of your growth capability is immediately visible.
03
Read your ceiling
Your overall score (24–120) plus a diagnosis of the dimension capping everything else, and what to do about it.
A note on honesty. The value of this exercise is directly proportional to your candor. If you find yourself reaching for a 4 "because we have a slide about it," score it a 2.

It takes about 10 minutes. Your results will show you exactly where your brand's growth is being capped right now.
